We went into hospital to be induced on Saturday 15th May 2010, at 4pm. I was 41 weeks and 6 days! You were so comfortable in there, that we didn't get anything after the pessaries until the Monday morning at 9am. By 9pm Monday evening, I was definetly in labour having contractions for 12 hours. The Staff insisted on an Epidural, as you were too far up, and they needed to break my waters in the operating theatre. All went well, and we continued with labour. The Induction drugs didn't have alot of effect, and your heartrate dipped a few times, indicating distress, so was taken in for an Emergency C-section. Mummy hated every minute, and didn't react well. When you were eventually born on Tuesday 18th May 2010 @ 18.33pm, it was amazing! You were perfect!!! Mummy couldn't hold you for a few hours, as i had to be sown up, and have a blood transfusion after losing lots of blood. When I eventually got the chance to hold you, you were so beautiful! So tiny! So perfect!!! You were finally with us weighing a very healthy 8lb 4oz . . . The start of something very special for Mummy, Daddy & everyone around us.
